Biography
The Greene County Board of DD provides a wide variety of services and supports for people with diverse abilities.
The Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities is an agency committed to serving individuals with mental and physical disabilities in Greene County, Ohio, while providing support services for their families.
We offer services and supports for eligible individuals living in Xenia, Beavercreek, Fairborn, and Bellbrook. We have three major areas of service:
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS: This division provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to three) with disabilities and/or developmental delays, or who are at risk to develop delays. Services are family-centered and are provided by specialists trained in early intervention, physical, occupational, and language therapies.
ADULT SERVICES: Also known as Greene, Inc., adult services provides extensive training and employment options for adults with developmental disabilities. For more information on Greene, Inc., visit http://www.greeneinc.org.
COMMUNITY SERVICES: This division is responsible for service and support administration, supported living, family support services, behavior support services, Medicaid waiver administration, and public education. Also under this division is Homecroft, Inc., a nonprofit corporation that purchases homes for individuals with disabilities so they may live more independently and become contributing members of their communities.
